Lindsay H Cook is the Senior Partner of Atherstone & Cook and has a B. Comm and an LLB. degree from Cape Town University obtained in 1952. He also has a Tax Law Diploma from the University of South Africa. He was admitted as an Advocate in 1953 in South Africa and Zimbabwe, and practised as an Advocate in Zimbabwe for approximately 3 years. Lindsay was admitted as an attorney and Notary Public of the High Court of Zimbabwe in May 1957. He has appeared on a number of occasions in the High Court and the Supreme Court.
He specialises in corporate law, including all aspects of company law and tax law, and has appeared on numerous occasions in the Special Income Tax Court. He has also specialised in Exchange Control law and has had considerable experience in dealing with sale of share agreements and mergers, as well as schemes of arrangement. Lindsay is also experienced in litigation of all kinds.
