She has advised renowned global brands on intellectual property rights (IPR) prosecution and enforcement in Sri Lanka. Starting her practice in commercial litigation, Himani worked as an Associate on several high-profile cases with leading counsel in Sri Lanka. She subsequently focused exclusively on intellectual property law and was instrumental in establishing the firm’s Brand Protection and Enforcement practice, which has since become a leader in this field in Sri Lanka. She manages a team of Attorneys working on large trademark portfolios for both local and international clients, patent prosecution and domain name disputes. In addition to intellectual property, she provides advice on the commercialization of innovations, manufacturing and licensing agreements, franchise arrangements, and regulatory matters for pharma, media, and food & beverage companies.
